Location: Microsoft Teams Virtual Meeting
Following the kick-off meeting of the Paris Call Working Group 3 on Supporting the Continuation of UN Negotiations with a Strong Multi-Stakeholder Approach held on 24 March 2021, the Cybersecurity Tech Accord and the French Ministry for European and Foreign Affairs are organizing four working sessions to help advance our understanding of the issue at stake and propose a way forward in preparation for the Paris Peace Forum in November 2021.
The third session will take place Wednesday 8 September, from 4:30-5:45 PM CEST.
The session will be focused on presenting and debating the way forward for the Programme of Action, a proposal by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs supported by over 50 other states, to establish a permanent, inclusive, consensus-based and action-oriented international instrument to advance responsible behavior in the use of ICTs in the context of international security.
The session will also allow stakeholders to comment on the draft paper on the PoA and discuss the proposal’s potential implementation.
Interested participants can register to attend here. The meeting link will be provided upon registration.
Please do not hesitate to contact the Cybersecurity Tech Accord Secretariat at info@cybertechaccord.org if you have any further questions about the session or the proceedings of the Working Group 3.
