As part of our International Women’s Day 2024 campaign, the Cybersecurity Tech Accord and Women4Cyber co-hosted on 27 March an interactive career webinar titled Cybersecurity Tech Accord X Women4Cyber Mentorship Programme: Bridging the Cybersecurity Gender Gap, where women leaders from our community of signatories shared their experience on finding their way in the cybersecurity workforce and the skills needed to succeed in a cybersecurity career. Participants had the chance to learn more about the Women4Cyber Mentorship Programme and how to get involved as a mentee directly from women mentors and received tips on choosing the right career path for themselves.
Our webinar, moderated by Ilinca Bogaciov from the Cybersecurity Tech Accord Secretariat, featured the following speakers from our signatory community:
Charlotte Eynon – Cybersecurity Consultant at Infosys Consulting
Dana Simberkoff – Chief Risk, Privacy and Information Security Officer at AvePoint
Domiziana Foti – Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at BIP
Kaja Ciglic – Senior Director for Digital Diplomacy at Microsoft
Saskia Brugman – Strategic Partnerships and Activities Coordinator at Women4Cyber Foundation
Robyn Magalhaes – Cyber Program Advisor, CISO Program Office at Dell
We would like to thank all speakers and participants for making this event a success and hope that attendees were able to take away some useful insights for embarking on their cybersecurity career journey.
