FTC and Law Enforcement Partners to Announce Robocall Enforcement Sweep Tomorrow in Chicago

WHAT: The Federal Trade Commission, in conjunction with other federal, state, and local law enforcement, will announce “Operation Call it Quits,” the latest joint-agency crackdown on telemarketers responsible for more than a billion illegal robocalls.

WHO: The FTC’s Bureau of Consumer Protection Director, Andrew Smith, will be joined by Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill and a consumer who has been adversely affected by unwanted telemarketing robocalls. Contact information will be available for all other state Attorneys General participating in the sweep.
